Employment Tribunals usually relate to one of several key disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination claims and unfair deductions from pay. The time limit for making a claim is usually three months, which starts either from the date of the incident, or when your employment ends.
You should explore other options first, including any in-house grievance procedures offered by your employer, and the Early Conciliation service offered by Acas. If you attempt Acas conciliation, the time you spend on this will normally be added on to your deadline for making an Employment Tribunal claim.
