Getting help with a legal issue can be daunting, but at PDA Law our personal services are designed to be here when you need them. We are always happy to help with any enquiries, and can advise you on the best course of action if you are not sure of how to proceed.
We have solicitors who specialise in several areas of personal law, from fields like family law that may be very highly emotionally charged, to purely practical issues like buying and selling residential property.
PDA Law can advise on personal legal services for you and your family in areas including:
- Family Law
- Wills & Probate
- Landlord & Tenant
- Road Traffic Offences
- Personal Injury
- Residential Property Buying & Selling
- Employment Law
To find out more about any of these areas and the further services we offer in each field, visit the pages on this site or get in touch to make an initial enquiry without obligation.
Many of our services fall under the general heading of family law, and this can also include emotionally challenging processes like divorce, deciding on parental responsibility for children following separation, or dealing with the estate of a deceased family member.
In such cases we understand that a friendly and sympathetic ear is needed, but also that you need clear advice that is free from legal jargon and ambiguity, and we promise that we will tell you what you need to hear, even if it is not what you necessarily want to hear.
By making this promise to you, we can keep your case on track and pursue the appropriate legal routes to a quick and legally binding conclusion, without getting distracted by the high level of emotion that may be attached to the case.
Crucially in cases that involve dependants and vulnerable family members, we will make sure our advice takes into account their legal entitlements, as this could affect everything from dividing the family finances and assets, to future residential and visitation rights, and maintenance payments made following a divorce.
Much of the family case law surrounding same-sex relationships is still quite new, and it is important to work with a legal team that understands both the legislation in place on issues like same-sex marriage and civil partnerships, and also the legal precedents that apply, whether they are from some of the first cases of same-sex divorce, or whether they derive from mixed-sex relationships where the precedents can reasonably be applied.
This is a rapidly developing area of family law and we have worked with many clients already who are going through civil partnership dissolution or same-sex divorce, and we are well placed to apply that experience, along with our knowledge of recent court rulings, in the advice we give to new clients.
Not all of our personal legal services relate to emotionally difficult cases, and we can also provide several property law services that may be relatively straightforward.
These include conveyancing work if you are buying and selling residential property, and our experienced team will work diligently to process the legal paperwork, flag up any causes for concern with a property purchase, and keep the pressure on the other party’s solicitors to get the contracts signed and exchanged.
We also provide legal services to landlords and tenants, and these can include everything from tenancy disputes to legally enforcing eviction on a non-paying or nuisance tenant.
Tenants enjoy certain fundamental rights, especially when a contract is in place, so if you are a landlord in need of legal assistance, please get in touch and we will do our best to help you regain control of your property as quickly as possible, without breaking the law.

The areas described in detail above are just a snapshot of some of the personal legal services our team of expert solicitors is able to provide, and we are happy to take all enquiries and advise on whether your claim or case is something we are able to help with.
As mentioned, some cases might be quite straightforward, such as completing the conveyancing on a residential property purchase that runs without a hitch, while others, particularly in the field of family law, may involve acrimonious and emotionally charged proceedings.
No matter what, we are committed to representing your interests as our client, and to helping make sure that the relevant proceedings are completed as quickly and smoothly as possible; in some dispute cases we can even offer the added safety net of a no-win, no-fee promise.
